April is hospitality month at CMC. Spring is around the corner, picnics, ice cream, getting together. Take a moment in April and think about people at church you have wanted to get together with or get to know better and take the plunge and invite them for a meal, a potluck at your house, bowling together, hiking. - from Board of Elders.

Prayers and Praises

MMN: Mennonite Mission Network worker Linda Oyer requests prayer that the Lamorlaye Mennonite Church near Paris will obtain permission to build its proposed new church building. Though the congregation is small, pray it will have a significant witness in the community.

VMM: : There is an Easter sunrise service held at Fort George by some of the congregations of the Mennonite Church of Trinidad & Tobago each year. Thank God for this good time of worship in a beautiful place, reminding everyone of the miracle of the resurrection of Christ.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
