Virginia Mennonite Missions: There is an urgent need for a young man to serve at the Maranatha School for the Deaf for the coming school year. Assisting teachers in the classrooms, providing interesting life experiences and demonstrating Christ's love are parts of the job description. Contact Galen Lehman, 540-434-9727

Prayers and Praises

Mennonite Mission Network: The Paraguayan National Mennonite Conference leaders gather August 10-11 for training, including sessions on inner healing. Mennonite Mission Network mission associates C. Paul and Hildi Amstutz request prayer that participants will experience liberation from inner wounds.

VMM Missions: Thank God for the successful Vacation Bible schools in Virginia Mennonite Conference congregations during the summer months. The outdoor Bible school in Graham, N.C. that was led by Outlet 10:27 attracted 60 children. May these contacts continue in the months ahead.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
