CHURCH WORK DAY IS THIS SATURDAY! Come help spruce up the inside and outside of the church. Starting time is 9am.

A book discussion of The Upside Down Kingdom by Don Kraybill is starting in the discussion class that meets in the back of the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. If you would like to participate in the class please contact Roy Hange for a book.

Start gathering your junk to become someone else's treasures. The Annual Church Yard Sale is Saturday, May 5. Items may be brought to the church starting Sunday, April 29 after worship service. Be on the lookout for ways you can help with pricing, selling, and baking (for the bake sale.)

Mark Your Calendars!!! Church Retreat will be June 1-3 this year. Keep your eyes open for registration forms coming soon.

Please see Chris or send an email to gloria if you are willing to mow the church lawn. We usually schedule dates from May through October. If you are aware of months, weeks, that do not suit please include this also. Thank you.

Ladies: You're Invited to a Baby Shower for Becky Scott on Sunday, April 29 following church. Please bring a salad to share. She is registered at Target and Babies R Us. Please let Libby know if you are planning on attending.

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: Early this morning there is a sunrise service at Ft. George, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad where members of the Diego Martin Mennonite Church are gathering to praise our resurrected Lord. Join them in spirit as we celebrate Easter today.

Mennonite Mission Network: Praise God for Mennonite Mission workers and believers around the world who together worship the resurrected Christ this Easter day. Many African Initiated Churches hold their denominational annual meetings and baptisms during Easter weekend. Pray especially for newly baptized believers.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
