Announcements

Please email all bulletin announcements by Wednesday 8:00 pm to Becky.

A big thank you to the worship committee (Jessica, Linda, Elaine, Christy) for planning the worship this season, for Jean who designed the bulletin cover, for Christy for the unfolding art work, all the musicians, song leaders and everyone behind the scenes. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!

Our 2009-2010 budget reached the half-year point at November 30, 2009. Our offerings are $6,000 (12%) below budget. We are hopeful that offerings at CMC will be increased during the next 6 months to make up that shortfall.

Next Sunday Sarah from IMPACT will be joining us. Anyone who is interested in learning more about IMPACT is invited to stay for lunch. Please bring a dish to share.

Prayers and Praises

MMN: The end of the year is a time of spiritual combat between the forces of life and death in many parts of the world. Pray that Mission Network personnel and our partners in more than 50 countries may work in life-giving ways

VMM: Mennonite Mission Network and Virginia Mennonite Missions workers Steve & Betsey Dintaman are preparing for a new semester at Lithuania Christian College where they relate closely with students from various countries. Ask God to give them wisdom and patience for each interaction.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
