Spaghetti Dinner Youth Fundraiser: Thank you to all who helped the youth on their road to Columbus, OH last night. The preliminary amount raised last night was $2,330.00.

The MMA Sharing Fund provided $697.40 in matching funds to support special needs in our church last year. Grete Horst serves as the MMA advocate in our congregation. Please contact her for more information.

Please mark your calendars! The Love INC Fund Raising Dinner will be held Friday, April 3, 2009, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Fontaine Avenue Extended. The keynote speaker will be author Dr. Amy Sherman, founder of Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries. On March 7, 2009, Parkview Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg will host Stewardship University, a ministry partnership between MMA and our local faith community. Glen Kauffman will lead the course Investing in an Uncertain Market, about choosing how to put money in the markets. Prayers and Praises

MMN: Bopaganang Basha Youth Cenre in Francistown, Botswana, ministers to young people who grow up in an environment with HIV, alcoholism and domestic violence. Pray for Mennonite Mission Network worker Melanie Quinn as she walks alongside the leaders of the Centre in this ministry.

VMM: Thank God for the Beinlich family from Pa. who have served at the Maranatha School for the Deaf in Jamaica for the month of February. They assisted the teachers in the classroom and provided enriching activities for the students. Can your family serve in a place other than your home community? Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
