May 4, 2008 - The Lord's Prayer: forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us

Gathering in Christ's name

Pre-service Music
Call to Worship
Leader: The Lord is compassion and love,
slow to anger and rich in mercy.
The Lord will not always chide, will not be angry forever.
People: God does not treat us according to our sins
nor repay us according to our faults.

Leader: For as the heavens are high above the earth
so strong is God's love for the God fearing;
People: as far as the east is from the west
so far does he remove our sins.

Leader: as parents have compassion on their children
the Lord has pity on those who are God-fearing
Awake, my soul! I will awake the dawn.
All: Our hearts are ready, O God; We will sing your praise.
Your steadfast love is higher than the heavens,
and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Amen
