Congratulations to Emily Behler and Lee Bidgood who were married last Sunday at the Greenwood Community Center. Maren and Roy performed the wedding along with two other clergy.

Volunteers for the Salvation Army soup kitchen are needed
for Thursdays from 4:30 until 6:30. It is possible to come after 5 p.m.
Please reply to the pastors. Two to three volunteers are needed each week.
Thanks to all who helped with and participated in the church retreat this
year. Special thanks to the Alderfer family for all their work in making
it happen. We had another great weekend, a talent show that unearthed
an amazing variety of talents and no thunderstorm during the pool time
on Saturday.
Thank you to all those who gave leadership to the
church in the past year. We welcome the new leadership team for Charlottesville
Mennonite Church. Please keep them in your prayers.

VMBM: Tim and Tama Shoemaker ask us to pray that the short-term teams coming to work with them in Donegal, Ireland will accomplish what God wants them to do. Ask God to prepare hearts to hear His word in this country
Mennonite Mission Network: Please pray for the
Youth Venture team serving and learning this summer in partnership with
the Mennonite churches in Colombia. Participants explore God at work in
a culture other than their own through service.
Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
