Congratulations to the following persons from our church who will graduate from UVA today: Lee Bidgood, Henrietta Siemens, Matthew Eubanks, Emily Behler, Michael McCoy. Chad Denlinger and Greg Larson Sawin are also finishing up medical fellowships.
Church Yard Sale: The church yard sale brought $ 473.25
for the youth fund. Thank you all so much for the donations of items and
the work you put in to help. Is anybody interested in organizing the yard
sale next year?
Prayers and Praises
VMBM:: : Patrick Weaver, tranSend participant, serves with Pura Vida Missions in Heredia, Costa Rica. Ask God to enable him to become fluent in Spanish quickly, and to touch lives of those he meets each day.
Mennonite Mission Network: Kevin Xiyi Yao will travel
extensively this summer and teach on Christianity in China. Pray for energy
for him and good health and arrangements for his wife, Sze-wai, and son
Evan in Hong Kong.
Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
