The church is sponsoring a table at the Love INC banquet to be held March 2, at 6:30 at First Baptist Church. The speaker is Dr. Bruce A. Beard. There is a choice of menu. Donations and pledges will be accepted at the end of the event. Please contact Gloria or Joyce if interested in attending.

Will Preparation Grant: You've heard, "Where there's a will, there's a way." If you are an MMA member, Barbara Brouse can help you find the way to your will. With a Will Preparation Grant from MMA your cost for a new or updated will just dropped. Get the details from Barbara.

On March 10, 2007, Harrisonburg Mennonite Church will host Stewardship University, a ministry partnership between MMA and our local faith community. Of special interest to baby boomers may be the workshop on Retirement Planning for Bloomers, led by Joe Lapp, Chad Hatter, and Joe Shenk. Learn about financial planning, using retirement investments as income while volunteering, and planning charitable gifts to retirement income. Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center's Pedal the Peninsula fundraiser will be held May 12, 2007. Cyclists can enjoy a morning of biking followed by a picnic lunch. Routes range from 10 to 65 miles. Prayers and Praises

VMBM: : In Nazareth Village, Israel, Luke Hoover, tranSend participant, works in a first-century setting where thousands of tourists and school children come to experience life in Jesus' hometown. Pray that God will give him patience and insight for his daily tasks.

Mennonite Mission Network: Marco Güete, Mission Network urban ministry director, and Esther Martinez, give leadership for Western District Conference church planting initiatives in South Texas. Pray for various teams establishing new communities of faith.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
