Prayers and Praises

VMBM: This weekend the annual conference of Chiesa evangelica Mennonita Italiana is being held in Palermo, Sicily. The theme this year is on worship. Pray for our brothers and sisters there, especially for unity among them and for perseverance in their Christian witness.

Mennonite Mission Network: Thank God for more than 100 children, youth, and adults who studied in English classes at a church in Nanchong, China. Mennonite Mission Network workers Jeanette and Todd Hanson request prayer for the families of these students who see the church in action and are attracted to the love shown my the people they meet there.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
