Prayers and PraisesVMBM: Carol Tobin, EMM/VMBM worker in Southeast Asia, teaches English and finds that the classes open doors for deeper conversation. She writes, "We must learn to be the 'sent ones,' to simply 'be Jesus' in the relationships that develop." A good challenge for us in the U.S. , too! Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for the indigenous Toba translators' team as they work together with Mennonite Mission Network worker Richard Friesen in the Argentine Chaco to revise the Toba New Testament. Their work on Corinthians has been the most challenging so far. Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
