2006 Virginia Mennonite Conference congregations are invited
to assist with the 2006 apple-drying project, preparing apples for relief
around the world. Bring peeling knives and pans at 6:30 p.m. to the Mennonite
Relief Center, Hinton, Va., on 2 Mondays, September 24 and October 2.

Toba translators' team as they work together with Mennonite Mission Network
worker Richard Friesen in the Argentine Chaco to revise the Toba New Testament.
Their work on Corinthians has been the most challenging so far. Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
