Prayer
All: God our Guide, we too have been lost in dark valleys.
We have rejected your presence and your green pastures.
We have wandered away. Today we acknowledge
that you are our Shepherd and Defender.
You have restored our soul with your love. Come, Holy Spirit.
Affirmation of Faith

Jesus is the guide to our salvation.

The entire church family is invited to attend the yearly church retreat at Camp Bethel on June 2nd-4th. Please reserve these dates on your calendar and look for registration forms. Please contact Libby with any questions.

Spread the Word! Gather your junk that will become another person's treasure. Make sure items are in good condition. Bake some cookies, brownies, and/or breads. Bring your items to church starting Sunday May 14 at noon. CMC's Annual Yard & Bake Sale will be held on May 20, 8 am-Noon. (Rain or Shine)

House-sitting opportunity - Josh and Jackie Suderman will be in Zambia from June 12th to the 27th. Our cat Lucy is fun and sweet, but requires feeding and daily attention. We would be willing to pay for your help. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested.

Love Inc always needs people to deliver furniture and appliances. Often there are people that are willing to donate these items but if no one is available to pick up and deliver the donors will give to some other organization or send the items to the dump. Prayers and Praises

VMBM Willard and Eva Eberly, VMBM workers in Bari, Italy, connect with a wide variety of people during the week and with the Centro Koinonia congregation on Sunday. Their nurture of new believers helps in spiritual growth of these persons. Thanks be to God!

Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for Mennonite Voluntary Service participants Fjaere Harder and Susan Wagler and the asylum seekers they serve by working with Asylum Seekers Housing Network and Reservoir House Hill of Peace, respectively. This ministry is associated with North Baltimore Mennonite Church.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
