Prayer
All: Author of Life, we too, have closed our eyes to your light.
We have rejected your presence and your peace.
We have acted in ignorance.
Today we acknowledge that you are
the soul-nourishing food of forgiveness.
Open our minds to understanding. Come, Holy Spirit.

Affirmation of Faith
Leader: The resurrected Christ
is present among us an illuminates our path,

Prayers and Praises

VMBM Robert and Lois Wenger, working at the Maranatha School for the Deaf, Jamaica, see lots of smiles when there are kites to fly or homemade ice cream to churn! New experiences broaden the students understanding of the world, and help them see God's creation anew. Thank God for the Wengers' insight and energy for this task.

Mennonite Mission Network: Join mission intern Melissa Law in prayer that the fledgling cross-community work and programs with Catholic and Protestant children at Greenhill YMCA in Northern Ireland will become embedded into the operation of the center.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, IMPACT--a justice ministry and PACEM-- the initiative for the homeless.
