Mennonites and Catholics from across the United States and Canada will gather at EMU this July to continue their ground-breaking grassroots ecumenical dialogue. Called "Bridgefolk," the annual summer conferences bring together Mennonites and Catholics on a volunteer basis to explore their two traditions. Participants include both laity and leadership. The conference will begin Thursday evening, July 21, with dinner and conclude at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 24. The gathering is open to the public. Prayers and PraisesMennonite Mission Network: Mission Network's Service Adventure program will have leaders' orientation July 20-14 in Albany, Oregon. Pray that this will be a beneficial time to resource new leaders and rejuvenate returning leaders. Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, CAISC -a justice ministry and PACEM - the initiative for the homeless.
