Last week over 12 persons from the community met at C'ville Coffee for the first discussion session. Gene Fifer has worked at organizing this group. Our discussion Sunday School class is also studying this book. CMC's annual Agape Meal will be held on Maundy Thursday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to provide soup, bread or fresh fruit, please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer. Our church is sponsoring a table at the Annual Love INC Banquet. The banquet is Friday, March 18 from 6:30-9:00 at the Omni Hotel. The speaker will be Robert Odom, National President of Love INC. The cost of the event is a donation. Please let Joyce Hutchinson know if you would like to attend. The Annual VMRC Auxiliary Auction and Meal is scheduled for Friday, March 18 in Detwiler Auditorium on the VMRC campus. We are in need of items to auction. Suggestions include: handcrafted wooden items, antiques, quilts, furniture, gift certificates, etc. Be creative! All proceeds benefit the VMRC community and will be used this year to fund a wheelchair accessible van. 28- March 4, at the Mennonite Relief Center in Hinton, Va. The MRC hours
of operation are 5 a.m.-11 p.m., and anyone is welcome to help on any

Mennonite Church in organizing the rebuilding of the house that church
members Perline and Verona Dockery live in. A work team from Mt. Vernon
Mennonite Church helped with the physical labor for a week in the beginning
of the month. Perline and Verona do not have physical sight, but their
spiritual eyes are wide open, praising God for His goodness to them.. Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, CAISC -a justice ministry and PACEM - the initiative for the homeless. Pray for those within our CMC family:
