Prayers and PraisesVMBM: A young woman who owns a cheese store near Jason & Donna Martin's home in Bari, Italy, has been meeting with Donna each week for English conversation and lessons. Each time they are together, they talk about God and the significance of having a personal relationship with Jesus. This young woman is always eager to learn more about God as she improves her English skills. Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for Spanish-speaking
immigrants who are coming to Durham Mennonite Church, Durham, N.C., to
learn English as a second language, a developing ministry in the City
on a Hill initiative. Pray that church members will provide a listening
ear and make learning resources available. Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, and the initiative for the homeless in Charlottesville.
