Easter is not the end of the gospel story,
but a powerful beginning.
Through the breath of the Holy Spirit,

in those who follow Christ.

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: A young woman who owns a cheese store near Jason & Donna Martin's home in Bari, Italy, has been meeting with Donna each week for English conversation and lessons. Each time they are together, they talk about God and the significance of having a personal relationship with Jesus. This young woman is always eager to learn more about God as she improves her English skills.

Mennonite Mission Network: Pray for Spanish-speaking immigrants who are coming to Durham Mennonite Church, Durham, N.C., to learn English as a second language, a developing ministry in the City on a Hill initiative. Pray that church members will provide a listening ear and make learning resources available.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank, Salvation Army, and the initiative for the homeless in Charlottesville.
