Lord God, call to our minds now those we have wronged
Call to our hearts those who have wronged us
Call to our vision a way forward through a difficult relationship
Call to our imagination your grace in a difficult situation we face
Call to our spirits any resentment we have of you our Shepherd
Call to our heart of hearts your greater wisdom in a situation we resent
Calm the restlessness of our hearts, minds and spirits
if they have turned from you
Call to our awareness the sin we have wandered into
as a result of that restlessness
Call us to rest in your faithfulness alone
Invite us in your Spirit to rebuild our lives on your grace

Prayers and Praises

VMBM: Philip Rhodes is rejoicing with the three people in the Ridge community in Jamaica who have recently given their hearts to the
Lord. Philip is excited to see their new joy and commitment, and
looks forward to walking alongside Kerry Ann (a youth), Susan (a young adult), and Oneil (a middle-aged man) as their faith increases.

Mennonite Mission Network: Brian Dyck and Lynell Bergen, Mennonite Mission Network workers in South Africa, have become engaged in long-term strategic planning for AIDS ministry. Pray that they will find a good balance between supporting this active ministry, while not creating dependency on missionary input.

Pray for the local services for people in need: Love Inc., Shelter for Help in Emergency, Food Bank and the Salvation Army.

Pray for the 40 day spiritual journey as part of our church's vision process:

  1. Our selves, that we all will be drawn closer to God and each other.
  2. Our church, relationships within our church, our vision as a church; our facility needs
  3. Our community and our mission of witness and service
